The LP’s 10 tracks feature the band’s ability to fuse 60s garage rock ‘n’ roll into a sound that is all their own, best described as beach-fuzz-psych with a big cheeky nod to the UK Invasion. The band is led by 18-year-old Christian Gisborne who not only tracked all of the instruments, but also engineered, mixed and produced the LP - in the middle of his living room.

lyrics
Verse 1:
A lonely freeway
and we’re headed south
The strangest feeling
there’s no one around
A change of seasons
the summer has gone
Just shades of blue
And they blot out the sun
Chorus 1:
Now you told me this connection was real
Now I would beg and I would borrow or steal
Only static in the afterglow
Is there anybody say hello
But there’s nobody there
Verse 2:
We paint the scene
And live so loud
Now waves of silence
Just drown out the sound
A ghostly echo
Is the city tonight
Now our lost connection is haunting my soul now in my opaque mind
Chorus 2:
Now you told me this connection was real
Now I would beg and I would borrow or steal
Only static in the afterglow
Is there anybody say hello
But there’s nobody there
Bridge:
Daylight sun won’t come too early for me
Daylight sun can’t come too early for me
Daylight sun won’t come too early for me now
Daylight sun won’t come too early for me
Daylight sun can’t come too early for me
Lost connection hello is anyone around
Hopscotching from jangle pop and post-hardcore to math rock and shoegaze, these Minnesota rockers have a gift for musical multitasking. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 29, 2024
